What to Expect Kayaking with your Partner

by sales in Blog 0 comments
boat rentals, kayaking tours

Nothing is stopping you from being the most athletic and adorable looking couple, you can book your own kayaking tours and boat rentals for two, and take away a memorable experience from the whole thing. And who knows, you might just like kayaking so much that you keep coming back to it. Just remember these few things while you are out renting kayaks and boards with your loved one.

Men are Stronger than Women
It’s not patriarchy, its biology. Men are able to exert more strength than a woman might; this does not make him a better kayaker but sure can be handy when paddling. If you have never gone kayaking as a couple before, this might come as a surprise. After all, the two of you are a picture of equality and perfect synchronization in every activity that you undertake, why should this be any different? If you are paddling for the first time or after a very long time, it might be. So even if you feel that it’s unreasonable, part of kayaking happily as a couple, make sure that you plan out proportional distribution of the heavy labor. Let him drag a loaded vessel. Its practical and does not compromise on any of the fun and excitement on your kayaking tours.

Women are Better at Kayaking
Most athletes agree on the belief that women were born for it. Women are natural kayakers; it is because their bodies are designed for it. They learn the techniques faster and are good at them too. Men tend to carry their center of gravity high up around the level of their shoulders. In a boat, that could mean an unstable vessel. The reason that women are better at making hip flicks in a kayak or a board is because our waists are thinner than the rest of our bodies, and the femurs in our legs join at a slight angle. Ladies, use this as you head over to unpredictable waters – men are good with weights, you are good at kayaking your way away from flipping the boat.

It’s Really about Spending Time Together
The entire kayaking trip is all about having fun with each other. You probably have done everything there is in the happy couple book and this is your chance to try something that bonds you but is also exciting. One of the things that couples are always talking about during and after these tours is how much the trip has brought them closer to each other. Most people are surprised at the prospect of it being possible. The thing about adventurous experiences together is that not only do they add on to yet another thing you can do together as a pair, but they also instill this sense of trust that other sort of activities rarely do.
